This old Mosler

A number of years ago I had to have one of these old safes. I think they are very cool and I love mine. However, I had left the door open (closed but not locked) and moved it to another business I own. When they went to load it on the tow truck the driver locked the door. Not a big deal because I have the combo in my desk on the original paperwork and manual that came with the safe. I can not find it anywhere, although I did take a picture of the combo numbers and finally found the pic after 3 years of searching old phones, emails, etc... I come to the office and printed out the combo and went to open the door and I can not remember the series of events to make it happen. Left, right, skip once, twice... I did not take a picture of page 2. Can anyone please enlighten me to how to open the safe with the combination? The safe is a B-6 3620CL Dial number is 10362-38

On that piece of paper you located, how many numbers does it say your combination is? This number will determine how many times left, how many times around right, you have to turn the dial in order to unlock it.

If you could post a photo of your actual safe, that would help us identify the lock and mechanism much easier than that Safe Manufacturers number or the serial number.

That is a rare document! Make sure it will not be lost!

I don't have my books with me right now, but with the B6 there should be only two possibilities. The most likely is IMHO 4R-3L-2R-L. I.e. right to the fourth occurrence of the first number, left to the third of the second number, right to the second of the third number, left to stop. This is like the dialing instructions of the 6730, which you can find on YT, but reverse directions. The second possibility is like the 6730 descriptions.

I sussed out the back page of those instructions to reveal the instructions for a 3 wheeled lock.

TO UNLOCK WHEN SET ON THREE NUMBERS

Turn dial to the RIGHT, stopping
when the first number ___19___ comes the
FOURTH TIME to the mark

Turn dial to the LEFT, stopping when
the second number ___74___ comes the
THIRD TIME to the mark

Turn dial to the RIGHT, stopping when
the third number ___52___ comes the
SECOND TIME to the mark

Turn dial slowly to the LEFT until it
stops

*something illegible* handle into unlocked position (pull to the left per the diagram)
and pull the door open
