Anyone ever use Amsec digital lock on a vintage safe? Is it as secure as the original combination lock?

The AMSEC ESL10 and ESL20 are good locks. Depends what lock was on your old safe, but possibly more secure than what it came with.

I agree with cledry-- installed an esl 10 the other day for a client, he was unable to make his S&G dial combo lock work& wanted something easier to use
