Diplomat 100 safe lost key

Postby Ander254 » 25 Nov 2021 23:54

I have a diplomat 100 safe. I can’t find the key. I had the local locksmith make me a key but it didn’t fit. Any suggestions to give him to cut a different one. Key code is 4035. The key he cut is too big for the hole.Image

Show him the pic you posted of the cylinder. The 4035 code pulls up a different key blank to use but he should still be able to fit a key for you.

These safes were made by a number of different companies and there are variations in the cylinders.

The Diplomat 100 looks like the biggest record safe they made, I used to sell Diplomat but nothing that heavy. The lock isn't that hard to pick open & then it can be removed & a key made by taking it apart--unless your locksmith wants to impression a key.
