Who knows this floor safe?

Forgot how to dial the combination on that old safe? Think you got the right numbers but the handle is stuck? What safe should you buy? Ask your safe questions here!

Who knows this floor safe?

Postby Sleutelboertje » 27 Nov 2021 12:55

Hello,

I found this floor safe. I can buy it but does anyone know a brand? There is nothing left of the original paint. I think a early 1900 safe, built in the USA.
Who can help. Hope the photo’s work….

Reason: the [image] command only shows an image if the URL link is to the exact file name with the usual ending of .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .bmp, it can't decode shared Google links like these. I have created [URL] links above each one for you.

It might be an Alpine with a straight tailpiece lock aka direct entry fence lock. Do you have a photo of the inside of the door?

No Martin, no picture of the inside.
Next week I”ll pick it up and see what it is.
Thanks for your reply!
