I got these two vintage cabinets and one of the doors is locked. I don't care about keeping the lock I just don't want to damage the wood. I removed the lock that was on the same side door on the other cabinet. they all seem to have the same lock except the other side has the same lock but mirrored. I managed to lock and unlock the lock by inserting a flat screwdriver and randomly pushing these pieces of metal upwards then from left to right to lock and right to left to unlock but it took a fair amount of pressure to do it. Any help would be appreciated.
PS/the key in the picture is not that lock key and I couldnt find replacements to try.
Lock brand: Elzett. Hungarian made
