Nocki 'smart' lock

Stumbled across this today. https://nocki.shop/

Anyone have experience with it?

It appears to be the same as this: https://www.amazon.com/Geek-Smart-Fingerprint-Touchscreen-Apartments/dp/B08SK2P98T/
It's a good day when I learn something new.

I haven't had to deal with this particular model yet, but I use the smart lock and it works very well. In my opinion it is a must have for people who are into short term rentals.

This lock has the same weakness most digital locks have--batteries

Every year my clients pay me to throw away their battery powered digital locks, after the batteries have leaked all over the inside of them & I usually wind up putting a mechanical lock back onto their door. Most of the battery powered digital lock line is just a bunch of high-priced toys that don't last for long in Arizona

Of course this lock comes with an override key, so after the batteries have ruined the lock, you can still get in-- however if you are mounting a locking keybox to house the emergency key then why do you even need a battery operated digital lock in the first place? Just put the key to your mechanical lock in the locking keybox instead...

You can even buy a push-button keybox, then you'll have something digital on that door to feel good about
