Have a Friend Customer who has an Old Trunk, it has a Hartmann Yale Lock. It is not a flat key as mentioned in old post for this lock. I sure believe it is a Lever Lock. Suppose it could be a Warded lock to look like Lever to stop people from even trying. She also has a Ring of Keys I remember her saying. Next chance we both have, will give them a try. Wouldn't think their are as many Levers as it appears, 12? Also has the Number 174 on it. Thanks in advance

And a picture of the lock/keyway would help immensely.

Super Busy time right now, no photo, but is a H74, crosses to an Ilco 1060C, Located Steve's Locksmith in MI, also saw the missing part of the H. Was a H74, not a 174. Great help, with that, He provided Profile, And a Search of Hartmann H74 came up with Great pictures. He can do by code, also zooming to same as Blank size to hand cut. This one doesn't look tough, finding the Blank is a little tougher. Found 7 for $40. Can buy from another source in multiples of 10. I just want 2 for about $15? Waiting on Reply from another. Thanks in Advance any help.

Thanks, Found it, they list at $4.10, will have to Register for price and check out site more later. Thanks again. $2.09 sure is better, they seem scarce. You're good on your Searching.

Got the Blanks, these say A. Trautz on them, Ppear like new Old stock(like the Original Trunk Locks and are Ilco. The others(1060C)at Banner and elsewhere look different.
Think I can transfer photo to key even being out of scale. Question now is, What is best way to get a picture from phone and key scale to match?. Measure on phone before printing?. For a reference to see if needing to zoom in or out. Or adjust Zoom Level on Printer. Thanks It appears to be an easy one to duplicate as depth go right up to groove, and only a couple cuts. Have 2 Blanks to work with. Planning on the first blank.

As simple as that key bitting it, I'd impression it. It looks like the throat cut and the second and third cuts from the tip all simply cut down to the warding change. The first cut from the tip (Not the tip, which is used to throw the bolt) looks about twice as deep. I'd ink or soot the blank and then wiggle it in the lock to get the three lever locations, cut it slightly shallow, then impression it the rest of the way.

Will give that a try, couldn't be any easier of a Key to duplicate, On a side note, the Blanks look exactly like the Photo. The problem is the photo on phone is bigger than the Key. And phone allows me to make larger, not smaller. Suppose I could print out, take a photo so it is smaller, than zoom in to match scales. Trying your method as the Mark's Don't lie, Depth is a no Brainer. Thanks again. Little overloaded with work(6 Bed, 6 Bath, House, Swimming Pool, Tennis Court, Chikee, 3 Bed, 4 Bath Guest House, with 4 Car Garage underneath, with a Gym. Am doing Electric(4 200 Amp Panels, Security System, Cameras, Network. Am a 1 Person Company, Owner Provided me with a Helper. Owner trucked in 6 to 8 foot of fill over a couple acres of property. Giant Boat Basin, Due to Delay of Job getting Rebar, allows me to run to Texas for a Week, to do some Alarm and Electrical work for a Sister who just moved there) To make a long story short. May not get to the Key/Trunk for 2 weeks, Woman is not in a big Hurry. Will update later.
Thanks again If someone want to shorten this post, have at it.
