Soory for the multiple posting

Postby govintom » 8 Dec 2004 16:48

Sorry for the multiple posting. I am just frustrated. I have a big old iron cupboard where I usually put most of my important documents in. I only had one key given to me which I lost 2 weeks ago.

I contacted the Arrow company directly but they wanted me to tell them the key number, which I don't know, so they can send me the replacement key.

There isn't any number on the outside of the lock either, it just says arrow. I can't even break the dam thing becuase its entirly made of iron.
This was my first posting to this forum so I posted at three different place hoping somone will read it at least one place and would help me, sorry about that.

I still don't know how to open it and I am either looking for someone in my state who can open it without destroying the cupboard or any lockpick which can help me.

thanks

Okay, NOW we are getting somewhere.

Here is something funny, most of us read EVERYTHING on here. Post once, and we will see it. If it doesn't make sense, it will either get ignored, flamed or someone will ask for more information.

Now, when you saw Arrow, what type of Arrow?

There is a lot of stuff here about lock identification. When I think of Arrow, I think of Interchangable Core locks. Similar to Falcon and Best. However, Arrow made a large variety of locks.

Tell us what type of lock it is, and you may get a pretty good answer.

Ditto on the I core that’s why I thought this sounded suspicious (master key for an I core). Thanks for clearing that up Govintom. Also, if you have a digital camera pictures will help a lot.

don't worry skold, there'll be more n00bs to flame that get angry instead of apoligising (those are the most fun) its probably a sfic or wafer lock being on a cabinet
