Noob needs help

I am being stumped with a cheap wallyworld door lock. I am using a Lishi kw1. The first pin to bind is pin 5. After that, no other pins will bind. If I use heavy tension I can get another pin to bind and set but then pin five will not move. I have used a heavy a hand as I dare and it just won't move. If I lighten the tension until I can set pin five, I lose any other set and nothing else will set or bind. Same result with spp. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am able to spp and lishi pick other kwikset locks....

Go lighter on the tension. You may be in a false set on a spool pin. Since the other pins are not binding, keep lifting the pin that is binding higher.

You can also try picking in the other direction.

Keep in mind that a Lishi tool is DELICATE, and easily bent with too much tension/force.
