Can anyone help me identify this Gary safe? The door is about an 1.25-1.5" thick. The base plate is 1" thick. Not sure on the other sides. They appear to be 4-5" thick, but I dont know if there is some concrete in place there too. I can't find a label or plate other than the warning for the double locked inner door. I'm hoping with an ID I can get an idea of its weight and if I can handle it. What kind of locks would go in the back door?
At the time of manufacture, sometime in mid '80s or so, that is Gary's new style 8" to 16" square door safe. Not sure of inner lock but outer door lock most likely is an S&G 6730. LaGard 1800 was also used. Either lock is mounted VD.

VD = Vertical Down, i.e. the lock bolt points downward. Just like bitbuster I haven't found any rating for it. Maybe it has an old insurance rating by construction.
This safe doesn't predate UL. The first version of UL687 is from June 1938. If it is from the mid of the 80s as bitbuster wrote, then there was the ninth release of UL687. My guess would be it is a business safe for situations where something UL rated is to expensive, but a really sturdy safe is needed to protect quite a bit on-site cash. The data of your safe sound very much like E-Rate: Steel doors at least 1 1/2 inches thick, walls at least 1inch thick.
Hard to tell from the pictures, but based on on the mounting holes and the nose holes on the back of the inner door, it looks like it used to have a Safe Deposit lock, like an S&G 4500 series mounted in there.
The inner door was for sure locked with a two nose safe deposit lock. Maybe for the business hours.
I have seen photos of such a safe exactly like yours, which was attached on top of a TL rated Gary safe. Don't know if it was TL-15 or TL-30, but TL-30 seems to be more likely. This setup might be the reason for your safe's bottom to be thin compared to the other sides.
