Best starter set

What is the best starter lockpicking set to buy in 2023? I have been to many stores and websites looking at reviews, and it all doesn't make sense because I still need to start! I am hoping this reaches some seasoned lockpickers.

Price isn't an issue as long as the set is worth it.

To some extent, the answer to this depends on what exactly you're looking to pick, personal preferences, etc. What I consider the "best" set may not be the same as what other members here think, and even if we could all agree, it might not work for you.

The best advice I could give would be to try a few things out for yourself and see what works. Also, stay away from the cheap stuff, you'll probably end up having to replace it anyway with a decent tool so you may as well just buy the decent one up front.

Beyond that, try searching this forum a bit, or if you have specific questions about specific sets, we may be able to provide you a more specific answer. ;-)
