Which supplier has this key blank in stock? Need the MACS, root depth, or Depth and Spacing for your lock? Need some pre cut keys? Keys and Key Blanks is the forum for you!

Master M10 vs. M19?

What's the difference? I can't see one from looking at their profiles in ILCO catalog.
I was going to stock some M10, but noticed other folks are stocking only the M19... I'm presuming that the M19 fits all the M10 (K15) locks?

It looks like the keyway may be slightly different, and I'm not sure if one blank is 4 pin and the other is 5 pin.

Here is a side by side from the Ilco catalog, the M10 looks overall smaller:

By the pics, it looks like the M10 is more angular and the sections of blank are thinner. The M19 is more rounded, the top of the blade is more wedge shaped and the bottom-most side is much thicker.

Ilco M10 = Master K15
Ilco M19 = Master K900

Two totally different and separate key blanks.

Not sure if I Remember right, if so, the M10 was like M1?, but wouldn't go into lock unless you ground an angle on the back side of the key. Was probably 25 years ago.
Going to Search the Keyways now. Curious
