All, The safe arrived today "safe" and sound. It came with a blueprint inside that I may make a picture out of. I have a blueprint for a firetruck I bought from the town I may do also. Instructions for the dials too. What I can say for sure it. It is heavier than it looks, and may be as heavy as 4500 as the owner said. The Mosler "Handle" number dosen't jive with the online serial number/year data. The handle number is five digits, 43864, and the blue print and front of safe say 1932. So, there is that. I am excited as it is tall enough to make a nice fire-arm safe and if it gets located in the main room, I will duplicate the front, but they my wifes friend can small mural of some of my wifes photography on both sides. Any info on the Model, type, etc, etc... Oh, and outside its 30"s wide, 24's deep and about 6 feet tall. A little more work today on the safe. I gutted it completly and it was kind of like a puzzle, one piece at a time in order. The wood is nice, but unsure what species it is. Looks like oak, but supper light. Maybe 100 years in a safe does that, LOL. Some of the structure is held in with short 3/8 straight slot screws that I had to make a bit out of a cheap chissel and a small impact. I also took a couple pics of the door happenings. And, the door is 3" thick steel and the wall are approximately 2" thick. A simple steel plate calculator puts that at 5000-5500 pounds. The seller said 4500, so he was probably correct. Wow.. Enjoy https://ibb.co/9qhpYjhhttps://ibb.co/fqZWwSnhttps://ibb.co/fFX3ZVdhttps://ibb.co/1RPP4dYhttps://ibb.co/r4dkm7t

Beautiful safe. It is a Port-A-Vault made by Mosler for the US Treasury department. I have one out in my garage. Back when I first made this post, I did not yet own this safe. It is now in my garage. Gordon
