While Direct Entry safes are considered towards the bottom of the pecking order among safes, once bolted to the floor, they will stop most nefarious characters of the criminal persuasion. And, adding a safe into a house has got to be one small positive factor when it comes to selling.
Next step now is to look for safes where the combination has been lost. Again, congratulations.
Thanks Dean! I appreciate your comments and the help you provided. This was actually my second "opening" with the first being about 7 or 8 years ago. I'm not sure that qualifies as an addition; but I certainly enjoyed the challenge again and adding a bit of knowledge and experience to my varied skill set. I see myself more as a fairly competent, jack of all trades-master of few; but always enjoy accomplishing whatever it is I need to do.
With best wishes and my thanks again, for your help!
