 Hi everyone I have lost the key for my sons electric bike and cannot find a replacement from the supplier ree roo Does anyone no the best option is it possible to pick the lock easily or buy some sort of universal key for it please

I'd suggest taking it to a local locksmith.

Thanks for the reply I’m trying to avoid that at the minute if possible As it looks like a really simple lock
It has a sticker on the side saying KH-DX 24v but I can’t find anything for replacement keys online
Im not expert but I’m guessing it’s a 2 or 3 pin lock

Would a rake work with this type of lock And if I attempt to pick it will I find the pins binding and clicking into place like on some locks iv seen

Part of the reason that I am recommending a locksmith has nothing to do with the skills of a locksmith . It is because we DO NOT KNOW YOU.
Just look at it this way... What if you had your electric motor bike stolen, then you found that the thief learned how to make a key or how to pick the lock from this site. I am not saying that you are a thief. I am saying that we don't know you, nor do we know your bike.
We are trying to protect you and your property.
