Rakes for different locks

Postby Rugdude234 » 24 Apr 2026 5:06

Hello I was curious about rakes, I can open a ML 3 with a I believe its considered a snake rake, but not so much with a ML 140 is there a better style rake for that lock or just not too susceptible to rakes in general. I've been single picking at it for a while, I've opened it a few times but really by accident.
Thank you Phil

Some locks rake open very easily, yet are a bear to pick. Sometimes the other way around.

Most of the time, while the pick does matter, it is the picker that matters more.

You could say the locks are quite picky about which profiles they prefer.
