Kwikset lock looks wierd

I got a box of doorknobs and there was a few kwikset deadbolts so I took one apart and it all looks different then what I have seen, its all smaller and the core is in pieces. What kind of lock is this?

Kwikset smartkey lock. It uses wafers and not pins. I'm no expert on them as I am mostly commercial but there are ways to reset it without the key that operates it. The front of the core will have a little slot next to the keyhole you use to change the key its keyed to so that home owners can easily "re-key" their lock. The other guys on here can inform you more (or correct me if needed, lol).
