I'd like to try to impression an American lock I have, but it has some serrated key pins. My intuition says the first serration will hit the shear line and the pin won't leave a mark anymore. Has anyone successfully impressioned a lock like this?

Serrated and spool drivers don’t defeat impressioning efforts IME. A binding/marking serrated pin may false set at a serration and stop marking but it should resume marking once other binding pins are set.
