Which ones?...

Postby reboot_zero » 12 Dec 2004 7:20

Hi everyone. Been interested by locks since I was a child...dunno why -shrug-. I'm dyslexic...so I have some troubles sometimes, but in return, I can mentally see it more naturally. Just here to learn new things, after all, all knowledge is good knowledge.

At this moment, I'm simply put...tired of making my tools. I love making stuff, but I am going on a trip to england, and of course...I don't really want to take cut hacksaw blades with me... so I'm debating between SouthOrd's Jackknife tool...and a 20 piece set. I, of course, know about the different tools and what the goods are, but has anyone ever used the Jackknife? Is it able to hold up to the tests of time and usage? I don't expect anything to last forever, but I would like to get what I pay for.

And are both stainless spring steel?

Thank you for your time.

Oh yeah! I forgot one of the big questions :P. I was wondering (since I've never been to england before) if the SouthOrd's slimline series will work in the US, or is it complicate things at all? And can you get a JackKnife in a euro-style?

Hah, talking to yourself huh? Sometimes it helps just to say it outloud and then go looking for yourself. But then again some people start to think your a mental freak who likes to talk to himself  o well

Heh,

Talking to yourself isn't really the problem. Even answering yourself isn't that bad.

Now, arguing with yourself?

THATS BAD.

Esecially if you lose.

Well, I actually asked the question early in the morning, so I wasn't really thinking a whole lot anyways...and yeah. I can't stand it when people ask me questions when I have clearly explained the answers mulitple times. So I was like "HEY! a search button!" . And there ya go ^_^.

This seems like a real world oriented board....I like that. Lots of different techniques out there, and different thoughts about some stuff, so it's cool to see all these people in one place.
