romstar.. Did you read Crime and Punishment?
Nice approach on the social value of punishment. One french vertue says that the clothing doesn't make the munk. Obviously this statement can't be applied to our society due to the cult of xenophobia amplified by the mere fact that contravercial conflicts in the world seperate cultures that could cope with eachother. The USA has nothing to do Iraq, nor did it have anything to do in Vietnam (get your history book out if you don't understand :P ) Nobody can take party in the israeli-palestinian conflict (stop watching shit news and get your own opinion by taking out....your history and economy book)

Peace (And I'm not a hippie)

Wambooman, General Chatter would be a much better place for your post.

Actually political discussion isn't really welcome on this site, (read forum rules).
Thanks.

At one point I disagreed with masterthiefs ideas on medeco locks, but then I realized that we are all entitled to our opinion, and before I say " impossible" I should test the idea first. Therefore, I'm going to buy a medeco lock, and attempt his methods. I would also have to agree with Romstar. We shouldn't be insulting this person, because we don't even know him, and it's not like he came on here with a post that didn't make any sence. He introduced himself and even gave us a piece of information about himself that he probably wouldn't share with many people. As for the name, Varjeal mentioned in earlier posts that we want to make this a respectable forum, and by doing so we must remove vulgarilty and topics about religon, politics, etc. And because of the primary focus of this forum, there's a good possibility that police officials read it. Probably to monitor the forum and to see if anyone mentions comitting crimes with the information provided by the forum.

we probably should'nt be so hard on new members, in this case sure it creeps me out a bit that there is a theif on the forums, but he has ideas that seem good to me, i have a medeco lock, so i may try the techniqes disscued in this thread, if masterthief isn't "mastertheif" anymore then i hope at least he can contribute to these forums under his other nickname.

...I'm really new to this forum, but I'm not new to lockpicking. If you learn something from this "masterthief" guy, then wonderful...any knowledge is good knowledge, but if you think he is talking crap...then simply ignore his posts. I think that's pretty easy. I mean, in real life, if there is someone that I think is a moron, I just go on as though he wasn't really even there. -shrug-

That's just me though, and I'm not saying that anyone did anything wrong, but I would have really liked to hear what he had to say about some techniques.

Hey Masterthief, dont worry about the feedback that was vented towards you!
I welcome you with open arms, and indeed, many a good thief has many identity's!
We all want to defeat these challenges that are brought before us, yet many rob the people that commisioned them to complete the task!
Another posting i read was a guy who charged £400 odd to let someone in on the bank holiday after the new year!
These same people call us thiefs!
It takes allsorts to make this economy tick over, no thiefs = no security.
No security= no locksmiths! Insurance companys would disappear, electrical stores would close, stock market's would crash! millions out of work!
This world need's thieves as much as it need's locksmith's! more thieves = more locksmith's!
Many a message is posted on these forums by people who seem to lack in the benefit of intellect, if only a little more thought was taken beforehand!
So come on chap's, you hurt our feeling's!
The Buck doesn't even slow down here!

I have no clue what it was. I probably should have just left it alone as this topic should have died a long time ago. I barely invested any thought into my reply so I'm not going to waste any more trying to figure out if he was serious.

about the clay impressioning method described in the first post ... it could work on basic pin locks

I've heard also some thiefs have used a plastic pop stick soaked in aceton to take impression of a key ... then open it when the plastic stick is dried again

I don't know if they use a tensioner during the impression

I never try it by myself ... and I don't know if it is a good opening method but in theory it could work

voilà !

All that impressioning is making me feel tired! What ever happened to filing the cuts of a cylinder key and jiggling!
