My First Attempt at Pickmaking, and a Question

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

this is a free powerpoint viewer, and should work for you. You can only view and print, though.

Jarod, I used Open Office to open it, so it should work for you too.

That is one nice looking homebew set. 8) Very well done. Some interesting designs, too. You got a case to house your gear?

It writes, because the tip still has a little life left in it. I mostly used it because the marker had a story behind it, and I'd rather put it to use than keep it around for the sentimental value alone.

You really have a nice case :) . I can't see if there is already some in but It may be a good idea to put some cotton wool in to reduce the sound of the picks in to make it look more like a real pen.

smart case idea, what i would do to reduce the noise is to get a little elastic band to hold all the picks together to stop them from dangling together, that should reduce the noise a lot

Some of them look a bit large, but overall excellent work.

Ok, I used the cutting tool handle idea to produce these picks:

I used plumbing snake for everything except the computer generated picks, which aren't completely finished. The computer picks are made from small feeler guage parts, they weren't made into a jackknife because they were more difficult to work with in that state. I plan on drilling holes in the leftover pieces of plumbing snake, and making them into a jackknife set.

I'm still working on my powerpoint templates, it's taking a bit longer than I thought. I'll keep you all updated, though.

Questions/comments/suggestions are welcome.
