I have this detector lock, Trouble is that the keyhole is only on one side (Right Hand opening inward), I am still looking for one that has a keyhole on both sides.
A good lock but there are no false gates on the levers as on previous detector locks.
The size of the bolt is typical of chubb large, strong and well made although
their standards have fallen since assa-abloy took over; take the 3U74E!, I know that it is the economy model of the range but that is no excuse for a badly made lock!.
I just wish that they would manufacture the detector range again!.
Do You think You could pick a detector lock if You came across one on a job?
I wouldn't have thought so!.
Would You drill it, cut it or force it knowing that the lock is an antique?
personally I wouldn't touch it!.
What do You think?
