My brother bought it at the store off a rack along with boxes and tape, etc. I suspect to lock either the storage closet you rent there, or to secure the back of the truck. Anyway, it is stamped with their logo.
It's the 4th one down on the left at this link.

In my experience, if you find the final pin will not bind, this usually means that there are security pins in the lock. Try using less lighter tension, and more pick pressure.

I had a U-Haul brand padlock that met with an unfortunate accident. I thought mine only had 5 pins, and i tried picking it for 3 days. Come to find out it had 6 pins, and the last pin was jammed. I tried everything i could think of to loosen it, but the lock had spent an unmeasurable amount of time in a water filled box in my boss's shed. My recomendation is to re-check the number of pins.
Why don't I get invited to any awesome eviction parties?

Does any1 know if the Uhaul padlock has any security pins. If so, is there a special way of picking them?

the numbers smell and look like an abus padlock.
security pins? possibly, cut one open!
to tell if it is 6 pin put it over a butane or propane torch ( the side where the pins are loaded) for 2 minutes, then there should be pin retainers visible. the number of pin retainers is the amount of pins, but if you see 7 that means 6 and 1 retainer for the cylinder.

Nope, that's a five pin.
The large upper hole is for the locking mechanism, and the smaller top hole is for the plug retaining pin.
That leaves 5 pins for the lock.

That's the lock I have, except it's newer.
Could someone explain what a mushroom pin is, and how it works?
