VIDEOS of me opening locks CHECK IT OUT!

Postby egl1044 » 11 Jan 2005 18:13

Hello, I have some video of me opening various locks.

This is me opening an ACE small padlock.
This is a picture of the lock

The video of me opening this lock above in the picture can be viewed at:

I need some help opening this type of lock though, I tried and tried but can't open it.
This is an ACE lock as well and the lock is in the picture below

If anyone can help me with opening this type of lock I would appreciate it.
Any advice would be great about this lock, when trying to pick this lock I could not really tell if a pin had set at its sheer line since the pins are very springy.

I am going to add more videos of me opening other locks, they should be uploaded soon so visit back and I sure hope this forum rocks with information.

For the picture of the last lock, hold it so that the heyway is upsidedown. So basically hold it the way the picture shows you. When you set the pins, they should remain where they are moved to. If you don't have enough tension they will pop back up. This however, doesn't solve the problem for too much tension, especially with those types of locks.

Hmmmmm wouldnt you want to rake first then try indivigual pins, instead of the other way around.

You can do it either way, I originally planned on just opening it with the half diamond but when I knew I set most of the pins I just raked it to set any pins that did not set. Good point though.

Here is another video of me opening another type of lock I belive this is a wafer lock there found on file cabinets to my knowledge.

Here is a picture of the lock
