Odds are, if you CAN find a set of picks in a store, it's not going to be good and/or cheap. Best bet is always online. Besides, if you can't find one in your area, how do you expect anyone else to?

Have you tried one of the "spy/PI" type stores? They will yank your pants down around your ankles over the price, (I'm talking $60 for a lousy set,) but those are the breaks. Buy them online

You can still get the Dyno Quik Pick from Northern Tool. No, its not a great tool but it is better than nothing. You might have better luck making your own tools if you can't purchase some off the net.

Northern Tool also carries the Navigator Pick Set (Dino branded) that is quite good and reasonably priced ($30) on their web site. However, I have no idea if you can find them in their stores.

Try to find a spy shop, I think I saw one around 9 mile and Ryan not sure if that is exactly where it was though. Also sometimes I have seen them over at the gibralter trade center during gun shows and what not.
