Which set?

Postby joecool2727 » 25 Nov 2003 19:07

i already have a lockpick set but i want to get one that is easy to carry around with me. so i was wondering if i should get the jacknife pick, the 6 piece sliding set, or the concealable set. if u dont kno what sets im talking about then they can be found a www.lockpicktools.com . any help would be appreciated.

I've got an RCS Slide 6 and I love it.

The picks lock up very nice and solid. No wobble or loosening like the SO Jack Knife set.

The two wrenches included fit just about anything and are very good quality as well.

Overall quality is excellent and the package is very neat and tidy. Feels good in the hand, etc...

I have nothing but praise for it.

Awesome tool.

Not at all.

Like I said, the handle locks up very solidly. It feels good in the hand. Very ergonomic and best of all, you can change picks one handed without letting the tension off of the lock you're working on.

Takes about a second to change from one pick to any other you want to use and that's worlds better than the SO JKP.

Four picks,
two turning tools,
one neat package a little bigger than a pack of gum
The ability to switch picks in the middle of the job and NOT lose your tension...

It's worth a hell of a lot more than the 23.95 or so that they charge for it.

Haven't used them but they look like a good "emergency" set.

Something like the KGB Mini Belt Pick Set by HPC sounds good for you.
