Ive found that by using a heavy gauge turning wrench inserted into the little notch that the key grabs onto you can get enough tension to make the pins bind. After that its just a matter of varying the tension and poking the pins down with a broken pick (Ive got lots of them heh but if you dont happen to have one just about anything will work, maybe try a paperclip?) once you get it turned partially do not turn it the full quarter turn, the pins can then be "decoded" and a key made. An old Tubular lock that has been taken apart serves as a wonderful template for making keys, the old pins are removed leaving the holes, a small drillbit is inserted into the holes and drills into the keyblank. A piece of pipe can be used as a key blank, just "stake" it so that it bends inwards and catches the little notch that the real key is supposed to catch. Ive only had to do this a few times and it can be a pain drilling the depths right but once ye get the system worked out the pipe keys are reletivly easy to make.
