Hey what is a goo tool to use when you on't have your picks?

Hey what is a goo tool to use when you on't have your picks?

Hey my dad lost the keys to my brothers room an i am wondering what tools i can use to pick the lock. I am un sure of what the lock is but i know it is pin kind lol... umm please reply fast

Get yourself a thin flathead screwdriver, insert it into the bottom slightly and turn it as you would turn a key. Apply only light to medium pressure.

While providing pressure to the keyway, use a flattened out bobby pin (dont even try a paperclip) and just wiggle it inside the lock up against the pins. If you possess no lockpicking skills, this is the best I can tell you.

Hopefully the door to your brothers room is extraordinarily simple. If not, you may have to scale the side of the house and climb in a window or something =)

well the picking didn't work because the lock was to complicated to pick with a screw driver and a bobby pin so i drilled the mother out

some locks need to be drilled, it's just not worth the time when you have a customer waiting, it's not like you are going to pick a lockwood twin or an abloy in 3 minutes.

some locks need to be drilled if they can't be picked in time, i know that if you drill a lock you are basically commiting a crime and get labelled a driller killer. I respect my Makita as the last resort or the first resort, depending on the lock.
