Postby Hyperion » 29 Jan 2005 23:39

I don't know if this is a regular problem or anything but, I am not receiving email notification of replies to my posts..

And YUP I checked that I had spelt my email addy correctly, and yes I did tick the box for notification at the bottom of my post creation menu...

Any ideas??

Thanks..

Regards..
Hyperion.

That's a new one for me.

I will look into it, but in the mentime, be sure to check your e-mail seetings. If you are using hotmail or another service, it could regard the mails as spam, and toss them into the bulk folder.

Thought that option was disabled, I know it is on most messageboards I visit.

Maybe it's treating them as spam somewhere down the line, hrmm I don't no...

I double checked my settings in my profile and the box is ticked for email notification.. And I always tick the little box at the bottom of a msg/post as well if it's not done automatically; I like to be notified of people replying to my posts, I just think it's convenient, just so long as you don't have like 10 popular threads on the go at once, because your inbox can get full fast that way :)

Any ways I will leave it a day ro two see if it sorts it's self out.

Regards Hyperion
