Can anyone help me to download a video and/or instructions on how to use a mechanical Pick Gun?
I tried a search without any luck!
Thanks,
Dave

You have made three posts now asking the same thing, without reading the forum rules, and without any explanation for why you would like this information.
Pick guns are a tool of the trade, and do not have much value or interest for the hobbyist. If you have a genuine need to use a pick gun, you would have no trouble finding the information you need from other places.
Why don't you give some information about yourself, and explain why you want instructions on using a pick gun?

I'm a Deputy Sheriff and would like to know how to use one since it has always been an interest of mine and may come in handy at work although I have to admit that most times we just kick or ram the door when we must gain access in a hurry!
Thanks,
Dave

I'm looking for info on a MECHANICAL Pick Gun.
All the info I found on the multi-pick is for an electrical unless I'm missing something, but thanks anyhow.

I know the theory on how they work as far as vibrating the pins up but I'm looking to see one in action and info on how to adjust the tension as well as advice with others experience to help me with its use.
I came across a video somewhere showing their use but all I can get from it is audio without the video portion and now I can't find the source again!
I have it in a file under pickgunexpl but like I said it will not show the video.
Thanks again,
Dave

Make sure you have the right video codec. Odds are, it's Divx, but it could be something else. As for use, it's relatively simply: try to place the pickgun so that, at "rest" position, the blade is touching all the pins evenly. Pull the trigger, and put force on your tension wrench immediately after you pull the trigger, while there's a gap between the top and bottom pins.

I used the search first and could only find the video with the codec I can't get to work; otherwise I would not have bothered anyone!
Please someone help me to get the codec msvc to work or help with another video.
Thanks again,
Dave
