you are right. The picks could easily be duplicated and I have images of them against a scale that will be on the ftp site once it is back up. the difference I have seen is the handle area of the pick is about 1.5 times the width of a southord. You may be able to get that width from a hacksaw blad but you may see some waviness in your pick where the teeth were. Best bet would be shim stock. Kind of pricey but it makes beautiful picks.
