Hey Redbull83,

First I wanted to say I hope you don't think I was trying to take over your post.......

I am having the same issue myself and I didn't want to open a new thread about it...

and Hopefully we can work this out like a team and Conquer this BadBoy........

I've looked through several posts and it says to use the Lightest tension that you can and when you feel a slight bit of drag loosen up a bit but then quickly reapply pressure again........

So far i've tried everything in my arsenal to conquer this Beast from Feather Wrench,, to Majestic, Peterson, Hpc, Southord, Homemade LMAO

But this is The Most Difficult lock I have tried soo far soo I'm up for it and IT WILL NOT GET THE BEST OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

yet.

Lol, I didn't think you were taking over the thread, man.

Last night I spent a good two hours on it. Like what happens is I can get the plug to turn like 20 degrees, and all the pins feel like they're set. I've tried using light tension, but hasn't worked.

I looked over the MIT guide, and I think I have a better understanding of the mushroom pins. Well, I guess I should go try some more...

To tell if the # 6 pin is a pin or not, you look on the face for 2 retaining pins, if there are 2 and 6 on top that means it is a six pin, if there is one it is a 5 pin.

UHAUL LOCKS

Postby nate the grate » 2 Dec 2005 20:38

IT seems to me on the uhaul locks that i have tried that i cant seem to create a binding effect on the pins no matter how much presure i apply the only way to open them is raking and boucing and raking the pins quickly not very pro and sometimes it takes forever. I think a ground down blank and a saftey pin would be quicker lol
