It's the only thing CISCO hasn't taught me, i mean they teach me how to hack networks so i'm expecting Octal to be in the course somewhere.

Binary translaters are silly things.. i have to do it on paper for practice for one of my CISCO tests

Well I didn't have a binary translator to hand, so I actually did have to write a program to decode all those 0010010101s.

I wrote a translator as a mental excersise one day - also wrote a vigenere
cipher translator just for the heck of it. - I'd post it here to prove it, but
I'm at work at the moment and the scripts are at home...
