Southord lock pick set

Postby Augpick » 6 Feb 2005 20:10

I recently purchased my first pick set, the Southord PSX-14.

This set normally sells on the Southord site for 24.95 (U.S.)
However, I purchased my set off of www.lockpicktools.net
the link to the product I purchased is as follows
http://lockpicktools.net/catalog.asp?cat=locksmith
it is the third or fourth item from the bottom.

On that site, I purchased it for 21.95 (U.S.). And it is still currently on sale.

I recieved it in about a week, it came with all the said included items. I am very happy. I also ordered a book, and they threw in an extra book as well, free of charge (not sure if this is a common thing for them to do, or if I missed a deal I was lucky to get, but nevertheless).

I just thought I would let you all know about the good deal :D

didn't notice a edit button, or I would have edited my previous post.

Noticed I did not place this in the correct forum (sry), if it could be moved, thank you!

I find it funny that the contact number for that site is
877-667-7292

and the one for southord is
877-667-7292

Odd.

thats weird

I assume then that its just another online front for the same store..
or this store has no creativity lol.

either way, still a lesser amount paid then from their home site :)

Agreed. I noticed that you live in florida, have you ever been over to Southords building? Assuming they have a retail shop of some kind.

nope;
I just started working in a locksmith shop, and my new found hobby of pickin is only a couple weeks old.

if they did have a storefront, that would be interesting, though I assume that they are mainly warehouse.

of course, that would be nice for arranging to buy in bulk, but given the restrictions on ebay, and how many pick shops there already are on the net, probably wouldn't work out that well.

who knows; maybe when I have a bit more money, if I'm ever travelling down that way I'll stop in lol

It's probobly the same number because they figure if people have questions about the southord picks they are better off calling them.

I'm pretty sure they are the same company, I think the number I posted was the one you call to place an order.

this thread has explained a lot to me. (there can't be 2 sites who have 14-oieces that cost less than the 11-pieces!)
