all of your newer cars are equipped with tempered safety glass. It prevents large shards from severing your face in the event of an accident. As i said above you cannot cut tempered glass. The cutting must be done before tempering.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

But me being Canadian, and a teenager, I would probally aquire a glass cutter, and make a small hole near the window above the lock. Then a little wire to pull the lock up, and BAM, your in. Then you can drive off with the window slightly open to hide the hole, and no one would be wiser, unless they checked for fingerprints.

Now the American stereotypes =)

If you're caught with a 9mil in NYC, you can pretty much count on being destroyed by a half dozen cops. I don't think I've ever heard a gunshot in Manhattan during all my time there (I spend a lot, live right across some water). Harlem, or Brooklyn, maybe, but you're not getting away with anything.

If you want to carry a 9mil everywhere with you, move to Texas. Everyone has one, and everyone carries it out in the open. It is legal, so people never feel the need to shoot (Hell, if you did, you would just have another dozen UNTRAINED men aiming at you)

I guess what I'm trying to say, guys, is give New York City a break! You all watch too much TV!

Eschatos is right. NYC isn't the violent place everybody makes it out to be. You just have to watch out for the molemen when you ride the subway.

Ease up there Tanto.

Oh yeah. In Texas, we ride horses everywhere we go.

And if you break the law...oh snap. Its gunfight time. Sure, the local sheriff is drunk all the time, but that doesn't stop him from doing his best.

No-one carries guns out in the open in Texas. No-more than NYC. Dallas had the highest crime rate for a while, and I live in Richardson, and I've never, NEVER heard a drive by shooting, gun shots, or seen people carrying guns.

So when talking about giving NYC a break, do so with Texas too. Along with all the other states.

Just shifting the blame out of my city to yours =)

At least you can carry lockpicks.

It is true, however, that Texas has perhaps the least binding gun laws in the entire country.

True...the Dart and train in Houston allow us to carry concealed weapons, as long as they're covered, and we have a license to do so.

But, Dallas is not some free-for-all shooting range where the law is settled by quick hands and guns.

....at least, its not always that way.

Haha, I'm sorry that i was mistaken before, then. Connecticut law only allows open weapons, and we are not allowed to conceal anything. I assumed that was the same in Texas. It is the opposite. Again, my mistake.

Yeah but for some 15 year old car burglar wanna-be lurking these forums it might be news.

Yeah, and that special safety hammer with the pointed tip does the same job. Available for 9.95 at your local Walmart.

If you think your local auto crook hasn't thought of this yet, think again. They just tend to opt for rocks and noise.
