Thank you

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Thank you

Got started making a new set last night. Made a feeler, a half-diamond and a tension wrench in 2 hours. Just wanted to thank whoever posted the .pdf templates and the many of you who suggested plumbing snake. I've never used the material before and the stuff is incredible. All of you old hands have probably come up with this idea already but I used heat shrink on the handles. Nice. Gives just the right "grip" without losing any "feel". I'm going to knock out two or three a night until my set is complete again then I'll post pics.

Thanks again

I'm using a Dremel tool to cut, grind and polish the plumbing snake then I used a Bic lighter to apply the heat shrink. Dremel may be the greatest invention since gunpowder.

I picked up one of the Ace Hardware branded high security re-keyables. Appears to be identical to an American Lock. The serrated pins are giving me fits. Does anybody have any experience with the Peterson Bypass tool for American locks? Any detail photos of the tool? I searched but couldn't find any decent pics.

LP101 Rocks.

Thank you,
J Kehoe
