The gun Ruby used to kill Oswald was purchased legally and Ruby was also known to the local police which was why no one took much notice of him when they saw him until he shot Oswald.

For a little historical reference, Ruby didn't live long enough to go to trial (cancer, I believe), so he was never found guilty of killing Oswald. Thus, his gun was released to the family and many years later was sold for around 30 grand.

Could we avoid going into extensive and outrageous discussion about how the glass could be destroyed. I've read some topics which drone on and on about pouring liquid metal into a lock and I'd hate to endure reading another topic with the same content.

You could, ummm, use some sort of solvent on the sides of the front windshield, than use suction cups to pull it out!
Modern, intelligent thieves now can use ipod-sized devices to steal the information out of those keys with computer chips in them, than transmit the information to fool the car into thinking they right key is in the lock and disable the alarm, than pick it. All the thief has to do is stand next to the person he/she intends to rob for a few seconds while the device transmits a series of challenges to the key in order to get it to respond with it's code. Of course, this method is a bit more advanced than the twist the lock method your thieves used.

Oswald didn't live as long as Ruby, and he never had a defense, what kind of political assassin says 'I'm a patsy, after two days of beatdown by the dallas police, JW Booth, jumped on the stage and said 'sic semper tyrannis' only a patsy wouldn't claim credit. Oswald was set up, forget all the mystery bullet paths, and ask why there is no record of the interrogation of oswald. They didn't want him to present a defense. They gave him a warrancommission instead.

I'm willing to bet thousands of dollars on saying that there was definitely a conspiracy. If there wasn't, why would they seal the files on the JFK conspiry until all the people involved died. This was because these people were respected members of the US government and should they be arrested charged, the country would be a laughing stalk of the whole world.
