My homemade pick

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

They look very nice of course; please tell us how well they work, especially some of the more interesting designs. :)

Well i have had sucess with all of them except the poor imatation of a queen pick which is too big,

This morning with my homemade hook i picked my first lockwood 234/45 by SPP so that kind of made me feel good

My diamond is a bit to big but i am going to fix that later, and i picked a zenith with my poorly made saw tooth rake but it can only get better with time and practice.

My half double ball is working well for me as a rake but i dont use it much because i prefer single pin picking.

I use my homemades for hobby picking well same with my southords but if i want to pick quickly i use my homemades because i can pick faster with them.

My new ones are a rounded tip hook and a rake pick

here they are well all of them:

Have fun people

Hey Everyone

Well i have a little upgrade on all of my stuff. I recently purchased 2 Master Padlocks (That Typically Said PICK RESISTANT)Bah that was a load of crap it was so easy to pick.

I have made I think its called a Deforest pick which is a hook and a diamond mixed together if im wrong on the can someone let me know thanks. It is working well for me and i was planning on making some picks today but the hacksaw blades i brought were crap and werent worth my grinder :D I next plan to make a Smaller Queen and a King and some more taller and lesser hooks (cant get enough of them :D ) Just a quick question on a master i saw the keyhole was shaped like a lighting strike in away and just wondering was it some type of warded lock or just the way it was made :?:

All of my stuff at the moment

Close up of my homemades including some that skold made i think that they will be easy to point out

Great work, man. Keep it up.
How do your comp-gen style picks work? (Middle pic. 7-MAR- first on right.)
Freehand or used a pick template?
