motice picks, make your own

Postby aaalocksmiths » 17 Feb 2005 13:36

hi all
a few months ago i was getting my little lads old bike ready for the tip, i have looked to see if there is anything list on this topic but couldn't find anything.

the spokes are just about the right size to make picks with (or anything, key turners etc) for motice locks.

no need to pay for them to come from Souber or any other manufacturer. although as tension bars they tend to be a bit flimsy.

anyone else found this?

picks from bycycle wheels

Postby aaalocksmiths » 19 Feb 2005 14:18

thanks omlete,
must say only one of the threads that you listed (i think) (it's saturday and i've been to the pub) (one of my few days of in a week).

only one of the threads sid anything about making picks form spokes of a bycicle. lots about hacksaw blades and tension bars.

as i say been to the pub and have only scanned through the threads you listed. but hey, if i've missed them who else has?

were here to help each other, and your response shows that.

BZ on daily orders.
