As some people may have noticed, I havent been posting for a while, I have sold all my gear and given up on the trade. But I still like to check out the forums so you might see a post or two of mine, mainly giving advise...

As im only 15 years old I cant really tell you, to be honest I dont know myself, I spose I have just had enough, some people could do it for years, as some of you have. But I just wanted to move on, I mean I still love looking over the forums and giving advice, but just not getting into the practicle side of things...mabey Ill get back into it in 10 years, Ill just remember the good old days...

IF your "only 15 years old" and you stuck with the trade by the time your looking for work , you would be one really well quailified person.

You would be a on full wage in no time and well sought after, you could name your price :-)

Its a shame your moving on hojo but do one thing for me pick up a lock everynow and then and keep your skills from slipping away. Your only 15 and have the world at your feet so its natural to want to do other things but do keep your skills up even if you only a pick a lock once a month. If you dont this im sure you will regret not maintaining them when your older. Im sure many people on here, like myself, look back from time to time and think "i wish i had kept that up"

Thanks all...Im sure in a few years ill get back into lockpicking...maybe when im 18 so I got a credit card so I can buy picks...Anywho...Ill stick around on doubt

that's funny, I have never had a similar PM. Maybe you just have something about you that attracts irritating newbie PMs? Either that, or you aren't being entirely truthful and just saying you're leaving just to say it. Either way, "if you aren't part of the solution you are part of the problem" I think is how it goes. You can help make the forums better by participation. Also, if you truly are irritated that much about PMs why can't you just not look at your inbox? Not a very hard solution.
Oh well, if you have stopped reading the forums I guess this post is pointless, but I don't think this is the case, and bet you will read it

I too am only 15, and I understand the restrictions placed on anyone under the age of 18. I, too, was about to quit until I got a job as a locksmith's apprentice over the summer. Anyways, good luck to you and hope you get back into it at 18.

well I hope you get back into it one day. I also have that same problem because I am also 15. I suppose that we all get frustrated with being told that we need to be a locksmith. For me it's not always about buying lockpicks, but buying any information that's restricted like that. However I do understand the necessity of keeping it a secret. The problem is, whoever is intelligent enough ( not bragging ) to be able to learn about locksmithing and bypassing techniques, will figure it out with or without a locksmiths help.
