Sounds like you have a loving wife...
Just read up on the faqs and info on this site and you'll pick some locks eventually, no matter what she says.

Greets,
Been picking for about 3 years. Got started after seeing Barry Wells at H2K2 do his presentation.
Competed in the lockpick contest at Defcon the last 2 years. Made a reasonable showing both times. Have'nt won yet, but give me time.
Make my own picks, but own a Southord PSX-17 set that comes in handy as well.
Been lurking forever. Probobly met some of you in person. I even own the t-shirt for the site. Figured I should finally register and see if I can contribute anything back
Oh, and I'm Canadian and proud of it!

Hi, Im 14 years old and I just started Picking Locks. I got the Southord 14 piece set in the mail today, and am going to try it out tonight. I've visited this site before to search for information on how to pick and which ones to get. Ihave some questions that I'll post later.

Yes with the same caveat that its a crime to posses them with intent to break into something. Basically keep them at home and only use them on your own locks.
