gun or electric?

i use a pick gun regularly, and love it! i can open most locks in a few seconds, but i was wondering what the biggest differences are between an electric pick and a pick gun...

for instance, adjusting tension on a pick gun is simple, and can be finely adjusted. do electric picks have that ability or do they have preset tension options?

The better ones, I think, all have an adjustable "throw" -- meaning you can control exactly how high the needle jumps with each reciprocation, which I think is what you mean. The big knob on the HPC pick, for instance, is that adjustment.

I dunno about cheaper models, they may not allow that.
