Padlock, how can I go a bout it?

I hope I managed to attached the jpg files successfully.

Any recommendation how should I pick the lock?
The brand of the lock is named "Winner" where the shape of the opening where the key insert is rectangular in shaped, cut in several layers.

I had tried using shim or warded keys, but not much success.
Perhaps you can advise me

Please post again with the image attached correctly and we can go from there about opening it, if you follow the email instructions i sent you, you should be able to attch it, if you're still having trouble, as the email said, ask again and i will explain the process in more detail, or send me the image and i will upload it for you this time.

From what you described in your post, it may be a warded padlock, however i search on google image search for winner padlocks and came up with this result, it is a lever lock and as can be seen written on it, it has two levers, these tend to be more difficult than pin tumbler locks. i have never opened one, so i do not know how it opens exactly, but i would suggest using the search button and looking for lever locks if this is the type of lock you have.



As i said, a picture will be most useful, please upload it if at all possible.

Martin, it might help you to know that you can't link to a pic that is on your hard drive. You need to find a website like tinypic or photobucket to host it.

Well... you can link to a local file if you're actually running a web server off your machine... but I rather doubt that, and the address would still have to be a web location (rather than a local filepath), anyway.

i agreed to host these two pictures for martin ng, so here they are.

personally i have only ever seen one of these before and they appear to be a more high security type lock, i have no idea how to open it.

That might be one of those "disc locks" that digital blue was telling me about. If it is, then the principle is that it sort of works like a combination lock, except the cuts in the key determine where the cams spin to. Here's a picture, re-hosted on my own site since the original site seems to block 3rd party requests.

Looks alot like a disk lock to me, and if you dont know how to pick it, or just new to picking... Dont bother just yet, that ofcourse is if it is indeen a disk lock.

try to apply tension on the frontmost disk(?), if it seems "stuck" or spins freely (360), then try the rear disk.. then just try to turn the other disks..

if if u can't turn any of those disks, then it propably works like those cheap Abloy's, ava's etc...
