Enough to bend a feather is... I 'll make note of that.
Lets say you're setting up on the lock, you enter the tension tool into the keyway, and perchance a glittering fly lands on the end before your thumb does and says to you, 'lemme help!'. After a while there's no joy so he calls more insect friends to assist- two humping deer flies, a bumble bee, grasshoper... a crazy multicultural scene, man.
If this has happened to you, that tells me you are in the habit of dropping too often but the rule of insects is great for newbies just starting out. Tiny tolerances for cheapo locks and even tiner tolerances for the better ones.
