After the crest spinbrush electric rake handed in sub-optimal results, I started work on a new homebrew electric pick, and it is almost complete. This iteration is based around a very slightly modified electric beard trimmer. The trimmer was already rechargeable, and has a "turbo" button which juices up the buzzing output. As soon as the JB-Weld dries I"ll post the results, as I'm very eager to see how it works. The buzzing action looks very promising.

It sounds like this is a fairly easy and common mod to a cheap beard trimmer, any previous results? I'm sure it's been done before...
