guys im start with lockpicking 3 weeks ago i live in london one friend of mine have a tool shop and ask for my in the locksmith depatment for a pick set that was the begining with also 2 padlocks squire, i opened really fast and because of that and my good economic situation in this moment (once a year), i decide to buy 4 yale padlocks security level 4, 6, and 9 and...e boila! i opened all of them in lesss than 2 hours, and the real good think is yesterday i bought 1 yale house lock and one kwickset house lock and i openened in less than 1 hour i think is goood start. you know i buy today a big books the name is the complete book of locks and locksmithing is good? sorry for my english is so bad.

Good job, keep practicing. After a couple of days you should be able to pick the kwikset in less than 1 minute.

well done, it sounds like you are doing very well for a beginner, keep practising and you will improve a lot! the forum is very useful for finding answers to questions as well.

dont worry about the english, most people will just accept you're not great and will try to use proper english in their posts so that it works well with translators for you :) just out of interest, where are you from?

Im from spain!! but i live in london. since 1 year and 7 months ago? any shop in this area to buy lock picks?? cos i cant do it by internet. i dont have credit card.

its hard to get picks from shops usually, but you could make your own, or if you have a bank account, you can make an account at http://www.paypal.com and link your bank account to it, then pay for your picks online with paypal. most places also accept money orders from banks and postal orders that you can buy from a post office.

okis!!! ill do like this...or i will try!!! cos my and the banks ...not good mates, always the put me mistakes for all, so...im flirting with one girl in one locksmith shop near my place maybe in 2 weeks more she will do it for me jejeje, i hope. thanks for your reply.

Maulin try devonlocks.com for picks and you dont need a creditcard, a cheque will do. :lol:

Um...

1) I'm not sure maulin even has a bank account, based on his comment about banks and himself,

2) I'm not entirely sure Southord.com would be willing to accept a Sterling cheque, since they are an American company and clearing foreign checks is slow and painful.
