If I could somehow photocopy my parents license without them knowing wouldn't they be in trouble cuz most of these sites say, "by ordering from this site you are stating that you are in the locksmithing business or are a qualified person to handle these tools" Is someone gonna check and then have my dad in jail for a year?

Here's a novel idea. Why not ask your parents to order them for you? If your parents don't want you to have picks then, well, they're your parents so you should respect that. There's no sense in hiding your picks from them anyway. At some point they'll end up finding out and being really upset because you've been hiding them. How's that going to look? Just be upfront with them, explain why you'd like to get into lockpicking, maybe bring them to this site if they don't seem to understand. Ask Redbull83 how good an idea being sneaky with your parents is.

Lonewolf, yes, it is generally for raking double-sided wafer locks. It can very helpfully be used to pick one at a time, as well.

digital blue's right. Just tell your parents about your interest. If they support you, they'll help you. If not, then it's probably not a good idea to have lock picks anyways. And if you still insist on buying picks without proof of age, my rates are $10 for a Southord pick.

I personally got over the age issue by getting a checking account. With a checking account (which you can legally have an independant one at the age of 16 in the us) you get your debit card. The part I like is the fact that for so many years the internet's only way of verifying the age of 18 was the having of a credit card. Since you can only have a credit card at 18, if you have one, logic says you have to be 18. Good thing visa is the largest supplier of debit cards to banks.
Though there are ways around the issue of age, I would have to agree with everyone else though. If getting lock picks is too taboo for you to ask your parents, then don't get them... After all, they WILL find them eventually. Either when they're rummaging through your room, or when the principal calls them in because you were caught trying to get into someone's locker.

Well...I'm off to buy meh tobacco and pr0n with meh debit card...
