Can someone help me out with a reference to a patent (US or otherwise) that has a line drawing of a Hobbs (2 in 1) lever lock pick? I need a picture of one for a book I'm in the process of writing. As I understand it, US patent documents are not copyright and so you can use the drawings from them without seeking permission but just referencing the patent number.
Comments anyone?
Thanks in advance.

No patents exist for standard hobbs type picks as the design has been in the public domain since 1851. You can find pictures in several books though, most of which were published prior to 1900.
