multipick,s electric pick gun

Considering the vast amount of cash asked for this bit of kit. Can anyone who has bought this gun tell me if they think it,s money well spent? Or, would they have stuck with the HPC (or similar )version.

I'm sorry this is not in answer to answer to your question, but I have to beg and plead with you before I poke my eyes out and die in screaming agony. :(

This is a comma --> ,

It sits on the bottom of the line.

This is an apostrophe --> '

It sits up at the top of the line.

Commas and apostrophes are different.

This is how your signature line should look:

If at first you don't succeed, don't join the bomb squad.

Can you try to use apostrophes and commas in the right places? Please? Pretty please...? :) :) :)

The multi pick gun has been reviewed on here in this section somewhere so have a look around and all will be reviewed.

I, know at least:3 guys who have ,paid out about £400 ;for this thing and dont use it" i tried it once on my own side door ,assa cylinder didnt open the thing but had to replace it afterwards! These things are really powerfull and im sure with a little practice would be a great addition to your toolbox but you may knacker a few locks while youre practicing.
As ive said before i use an Orion electric pick which is spot on and after using this i find the hpc is nowhere near as good. This has been discontinued unfortunately i dont know why because it really is a great pick.Ill try and speak to someone who actually uses the multipick and great a proper report on it.

MrB. I'm sorry that my puntuation is making you ill. :( I shall endeavour to improve, if only to save your medical bills from spiraling out of control. I have now changed my signature. That should bring the colour back to your cheeks! :D

Now this gun's been out for a while, does anyone on here use one regularly? Is it really THAT destructive or not so bad once you learn to use it properly?

The HPC gun is great and opens most things, but I struggle to open Gege and Corbin cylinders with it. I know someone who claims to have a good success rate on Corbin's, and about a 50% success rate on Gege's with the Multipick gun.

it will pick about 50% of them, but is it worth nearer £500 with tax etc, to pick 50% of them, it is destructive and often damages the cylinder from most ive spoke to anyway.

il stick to my HPC, as i come across very few it wont pop open, and cant justify the cost to open 50% of the few gege i come across. i get approx 50% or a little higher of corbin with the hpc, though confess to spending up to 15 mins on some.

i prefer to spend the money on more tools that i will get use out of and will pay for themselves.

50% is not a bad percentage on the Corbin's Pinky - nasty cylinders. When the HPC fails, my rotary pick has a 100% success rate on them (and before you jump - I replace FOC if keys are inside the house).

Ive never had a problem with corbins ,ge ge are a little different. When i finally get to meet up with you guys ill show you my pick, not as violent as the multipick but still does the job. Could never go back to the hpc but i guess its cheating really as i cant hand pick like most of you guys

FOC = Free of charge, if we trash a healthy lock we replace it at our cost and not the customers

Rockford,i seem to to go on about this a bit so if i start boring you you can banish me from the site!
My pick is an Orion electric pick which i and a few of the cockernee boys have, basicaly its not a great deal different from the hpc ,other than it runs of a 12v battery and has a different blade attachment, ive always found the head on the hpc tends to wobble about a bit whereas mine holds the blade tightly. I buy double ended picks from jimmy at Aldridge and cut em in half, small diamond at the end. I can honestly sayive not charged mine for at least 2 mths and yes i use it at least once a day sometimes 10 x,as ive said before it doesnt pop everything but its pretty good.If i ever manage to meet up with Peaky im going to lend it to him for a while and then im sure he will make one, make it a little better and we will make a mint out of selling it to you all!! Its been discontinued for some reason and replaced with with what is basically a hpc, I know some of you think this is really cheating but when you are out on site doing warrants it is invaluable.Yeah ive failed on a few (Asec can be a pain) but id put it against a hpc anyday
