I'm going to have to program myself to fly through your wall of locks.
As much as i love Safe Ventures picks etc, i'm going to have to perform this task with Chris B's picks!
Now who's got any to lend me?

I do alot of work in and around a nearby council estate and I am finding more and more 7 lever Chubbs. I have yet to ascertain if they are council or owner fitted as a rule. In any event, the first one who can open one using a CB wire on the 30th April will get his first beer free .... who's up for the challenge ?

ok, just to add something useful to this. Most of you know this but for those that dont or are not familiar with the Chubb 3g117 7 lever, here are a couple of photos of it compared next to a Chubb 3g114 and 3k74 (the sash version of the 3g114). From an id perspective, the colour gives it away, although much more rust on it and it would be tricky ....

wallaby you have seen my e series pick from chris, this will tackle the 3G107 lock with the e series lever in.

I have indeed seen your e-series pick and what a clever little gadget it is too .... so simple , yet so clever .. its on the list .... but does this mean my beer is safe ? Can somebody modify the existing wire or get lucky on the day ? Any hints that you can convince Chris to give you may earn you a pint

i took no notice of this thread in the past because the south east is so far away from me, but sidpick PM'd me last night and told me about the meet on the 30th and it sounded good, so i've just waded through all 7 pages!!

im only 17 and im not very good at picking at all, i havent had time with my AS level exams and coursework to contend with, the only tools i have are a couple of sets of south ord picks and a couple of lever wires for 2 and 3 lever locks, i only have a few padlocks and a couple of euro cylinders to pick though, so i have no idea really how to pick lever locks and im not good at picking cylinders.

i have a 10lever safe lock thats a bit of a beast too (its big compared to the rest of my locks!), no curtain or anti-pick notches though so it shouldnt be too difficult if someone has a pick to do it with.

would i be allowed to come to your little "gathering" im going to feel stupid since everyone else in the pictures are adults and good at picking, im just a skint student but oh well!

is anyone else coming from anywhere near the east midlands or that route so i can at least meet up with someone before actually arriving (i'll be coming by train if i can come). i need to find out train fares as well, so who would i PM for details of where it is and what the nearest station to the place is? is it still Wallaby?
